Although we’re very biased and love diving in The Similan Islands, we appreciate that many people want to try something different. We have partners in Indonesia and other parts of Thailand for which we can offer information and take bookings online. Our main expertise away from Thailand is in Indonesia, where we are proud to present Gili Trawangan and Bira Dive Camp.
Gili Trawangan is a very small island just off of Lombok, and facing Bali. Made by volcanic activity thousands of years ago, Gili Trawangan has become an extremely-popular destination for modern backpackers, families, and couples. There is a great range of accommodation on this island, but no motorized transport. Some compare it to how Koh Phi Phi was about twenty years ago.
Bira Dive Camp is a new place on the southern tip of the island of Sulawesi. Our guests go there and spend as many days as they wish relaxing on absolutely deserted beaches and enjoying some of the best day trip diving in all of Indonesia. The prices are incredibly competitive and for anyone wanting an ‘off the beaten track’ and ‘undiscovered’ diving experience, this is it.
