MV Krishna Overview
Taking up to 22 lucky guests, MV Krishna is the perfect size to offer safe, comfortable and exciting cruises around Thailand's best dive sites. There's space to relax and mix with other guests. All the cabins have air conditioning, and there's a choice of twin, double and best-value bunk rooms. A range of itineraries lets you choose what best fits your needs and schedule, and there's Nitrox available.
There are two guest decks on Krishna. The main deck is where you will find the well-planned diving platform, guest bathrooms, and six guest cabins. These are a double, a four-bunk, and four twin cabins. All of the cabins have air conditioning. The double cabin is at the front of the boat on this deck.
The upper deck has four twin cabins, each with a large window and air conditioning. There are also indoor and outdoor communal areas where you can socialise with others, relax alone, or chat in pairs or small groups. At the front is a small air-conditioned lounge, and at the rear is a large sheltered dining area where you will listen to dive briefings, enjoy delicious food all day, and get great views of the Similan Islands above the surface.
Krishna offers a few different high-season itineraries. These include three-day, three-night trips (3D/3N) directly to the best dive sites of Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. Then the most-common longer trips offer an extra day's diving and two extra nights on board. How does this work? You join in the evening (like most liveaboard trips) and dive for four full days at The Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai & Richelieu Rock, then spend the fifth night on board, and leave the boat the next morning. We refer to these trips as 4D/5N but some other websites call the same trips 6D/5N, which we feel is a bit misleading. At Christmas and New Year, the trips are 24 hours longer, so 5D/6N (or 7D/6N on other websites).
There's plenty of space on the dive deck, with slots for up to 30 tanks, and a Nitrox system. The dive staff and boat crew are all service minded and experienced, and your trip is guaranteed to be one to remember!

MV Krishna Courses
Scuba diving courses are available on nearly all liveaboard trips, and MV Krishna is no different. The most-common courses are the Advanced course which is 5 adventure dives, including Navigation and 30m. Deep. Another popular course is Nitrox, which then enables you to stay deep for longer, and feel less tired between dives.
It's sometimes possible to decide on your Krishna course at the last minute, but to get the most out of it it's better to book in advance.
MV Krishna Itinerary
MV Krishna has two main itineraries, plus a slightly-extended one at Christmas & New Year.
The 3D/3N trips start in the evening, and go to Koh Bon, Koh Tachai & Richelieu Rock. The trips end late afternoon.
The four-day trips are referred to as 4D/5N, although some websites call them 6D/5N. These trips start in the evening and you dive for four full days at Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai & Richelieu Rock. Then at the end of the trip you spend an extra night on the boat, and leave the following morning.
At Christmas and New Year, there are two trips which are 24 hours longer than the four-day trips. These are 5D/6N, going to the same dive sites as the 4D/5N but giving you an extra day (usually) at the Similan Islands.
The itineraries below are the most-common for each trip, but these can sometimes be changed for a number of reasons. Small changes are made due to weather & sea conditions, special marine life sightings, overcrowded dive sites, local-authorities' instructions, and the needs & requests of the paying guests. The safety & comfort of all guests is most important at all times.
